Anger is an emotion which is felt by children and adults alike as a normal response to meddling by others in a negative manner.
Anger is a normal reaction to such a state of affairs.
Anger can be categorized as a mild or intense irritation.
It is dependent on the person, the circumstance and their emotions
Anger may be a healthy, normal sentiment.
Anger has positive results when angry feelings assist the person deal with a problem or issue with another person and remedy the state of affairs.
Regular occurrences of angry or reckless behavior in a person can a disorder, one that requires to be dealt with.
Expression of the anger in a negative way results in numerous unhealthy behaviors such as violence and aggression
When the anger takes over a person's life, it can make them destructive to themselves and everyone around them
The cause may be genetic or physiological:
1. There is evidence that some children are ill-tempered, touchy and easily angered even at birth.
These feelings exist from a very early age.
2. Another cause may be socio-cultural.
People have learned that it is all right to convey anxiety, depression or other emotions but not to express anger.
Consequently, the persons are not taught how to deal with it or direct it constructively.
Anger may have physical links such as higher heart rate, blood pressure, and levels of adrenaline and nor adrenaline.
Some view anger as an emotion which activates part of the fight or flight brain response.
Anger is the main emotion cognitively, behaviorally and physiologically when a person causes the conscious choice to take action to instantly stop the threatening behavior of another outside force
The external appearance of anger can be observed in facial expressions, body language, physiological reactions and at times in public shows of violent behavior.
Humans produce loud sounds, try to look physically larger, bare their teeth and glare.
Modern psychologists view anger as a primary, natural, and mature emotion shown by virtually all humans at times and as something that has meaningful value for survival.
Anger can move psychological assets for corrective action.

1. The first type of anger termed hasty and sudden anger
2. The second type of anger is termed settled and deliberate anger
3. The third type of anger is termed dispositional
Most important to managing anger is to admit that there is a problem

Anger management methods are programs developed specifically to help people with anger issues.
1. Initiating a dominance contest;
2. Harboring resentment; or
3. Working to better understand and constructively resolve the issue
